1. Exercise/Yoga Mat
You will want to make sure when working out from home that you create your own space. An exercise mat or yoga mat is a great way to allocate yourself at least one rectangle of workout-designated space. You can even make it a workout space in your backyard or beach! I suggest looking for a thicker mat for extra cushioning, especially if you are working out on hardwood floors or tile.

2. Resistance Bands
Resistance bands are lightweight, inexpensive, and take up little room making them an essential item in your gym bag. I always pack my set of bands for travel as they are a great way to add an extra challenge for both lower and upper body moves. Usually, band packs range from light to heavy. The tighter the band, the more challenging it will be to work with.
Try using the light bands for active stretches during your warm-up.

Foam rolling is a workout must! Ideal for warming up your muscles before a workout and stretching them out post-workout. Foam rollers break down muscle knows and relaxes lower back, thighs, and legs. The best way to foam roll is by rolling till you find a sore area and applying pressure on the roller for at least 30-seconds where you find the most tension.
